CHENJERAI AND MAMBAKWEDZA MUTASA

Chenjerai and Mambakwedza Mutasa are Zimbabwean artists who bring to life the junk we toss out.

Using old car parts, wire, driftwood, metal and stone – mostly claimed from the scrapyards – the brothers build beautiful and imaginative sculptures. When asked what motivates him, Chejnerai replied,

“ I am inspired by the creator to create. That which I see my father do, that I do also and what he says, I say also. “
